Please note:

That by paying a deposit of any amount you
bind yourself to these terms and conditions…

That these terms and conditions must be
read in conjunction with your quotations/estimates...

That these terms and conditions also apply
to all the additional work that may arise... as in some instances the
quotes for the additional work will be send by email or even verbal
(telephonic) and not necessary on an official Streamline letter head...

Deposits made will not be refunded on
cancellations from your side, as we work on bookings...
-
Streamline Renovations reserves ownership
of all material until full and final payment is received...
-
Streamline Renovations reserves ownership
of all removed and /or redundant materials relating to this work...
-
A minimum of 60%deposit is required before works
commences 20% on halfway mark and balance on completion...
-
That depending on the amount of material
supplied by us, (the contractor)... the deposit will change accordingly so as the progress
payments...
-
under no circumstances will we accept
cheques or cheque deposits that take days to clear, should you deposit
such a cheque... we will be entitled to stop all work until such time that
the monies have been released and charge you for the inconvenience and the
number of days/time wasted
-
Work will commence on the date discussed,
after funds have been cleared by our bank.

That it is your responsibility to print
this page, of future reference... as this page is subjected to change, due
to updates to this site...
Extra work:
-
All additional work… is any work that is
not specified on the original quotation… to have this work done the client
must specify in writing (email will suffice)… and request a quotation…
-
The payment must be made in full on
accepting the quote & before the work commences…
-
Extra work will include work that has to be
redone due to change of mind by client… or due to material supplied by
client that is not compatible…
-
All extra work that is not quoted for will
be charged at a rate between R 180.00 and R 280.00 per hour depending on
the amount of manpower used at the time... these rates are labour only and
excludes overtime, materials and transport costs
Delays:
-
As the client has to supply material from
time to time…They must make sure that all the material is on site before
we start… as any delays and time wasted due to their latency will be
charged for and costs will be for the clients account…
-
Time wasted due to access restrictions to
the client’s property will be for the clients account…
-
Should you deposit
a cheque that has an incubation period, as progress payment... you will be
charged for the time we are idle until the funds have been released... as
we will stop all work, until such time that the funds have been
released...
Power points and ablutions for labourers:
Accidental
breakages and damage to the
client’s property:
-
Under no circumstance at all shall we “the
contractors” be held liable for any accidental breakages and damages to
any property (new or existing) belonging to the client or any third party…
this includes movable, immovable, any thing related and not related to
this contract… including vehicles…
-
It is the client’s responsibility to move
and or cover ALL property that may be damaged…
-
The client may
under no circumstance with hold or deduct funds from any of the monies due
to the contractor...
